CCD Measurements of Double and Multiple Stars at NAO Rozhen With the 2-m telescope of the Bulgarian National AstronomicalObservatory at Rozhen observations of fifteen multiple stars werecarried out during one night - October 17/18, 2004. In the paper wepresent the results for the position angle and separation for tenmultiple stars (27 pairs) which could be measured.
Equatorial coordinates of double and multiple star components measured on GPO astrographic plates Equatorial coordinates are given for some of the multiple starcomponents having incomplete or inconsistent information in the IndexCatalog of Visual Double Stars. Two photographic plates were taken foreach system with incomplete or inconsistent information using the GPOastrograph. The plate measurement and reduction techniques used aredescribed.
Maximum separations among cataloged binaries The paper classifies many of the widest common-motion binaries listed inthe Aitken catalog and list 72 physical pairs with known photoelectricphotometry, 31 physical pairs without good photometry, and 27 opticalpairs. As a function of primary types, the physical systems have upperlimits to their separations that are exceeded by some of the opticalpairs. The fact that optical pairs occur with larger separations impliesthat the limits are real ones and not just catalog limitations. Thoselimits (in AU) are expressed by 2500 M1 exp 1.54 for B5-KO main-sequenceprimaries. The same limits hold for the Trapezium and hierarchicalsystems studied previously.
Micrometric measurements of binary stars (first list) The results of 167 micrometric measurements of 48 binaries, obtained atBrera-Merate Observatory with a 23 cm refractor during the periodSeptember 1982-February 1983, are given. Eighty-five measurements of 30systems found in the archives of the Association Amateurs of Astronomy'URANIA' of Genoa are also given. These measurements have been madeduring the period 1935-1937 with a professional refractor Salmoiraghi of156 mm diameter by Mantelli.
