Radial velocities of blue horizontal branch field stars Radial velocities of blue horizontal branch field (bhbf) stars have beenmeasured. The solar motion solution is determined for a sample of bhbfstars. It is found to be 172 + or - 40 km/s. The Z-dispersion of thelocal velocity ellipsoid of bhbf stars is determined. It is found to be114 + or - 28 km/s.
